Maryland State Distinguished Scholar Community College Transfer Scholarship 2010-2011

Planning to transfer to a MD college or university Fall 2010?

The Maryland Higher Education Commission offers a transfer scholarship
for $3,000 per year for up to two years of study. The award is
not based on financial need.

Requirements:

• Transfer and attend a Maryland four-year college
  or university full time (12 credit hours per semester)
  
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  (International students on visas are not eligible.)
  
• Maryland resident; parents Maryland residents
  if dependent
  
• Have completed at least 60 credit hours by start
  of fall 2010 semester
  
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average on
  Maryland community college transcript
