The Dr. Evelyn Bata Community College Support Program and Scholarship at UMUC at USG
The University of Maryland University College (UMUC) at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) is now accepting applications for the Dr. Evelyn Bata Community College Support Program and Scholarship for Fall 2010. This exciting new program includes ongoing support and guidance from an advisor who will help you reach personal and academic success while at UMUC.
Award:
· Full in-state tuition for up to 12 credits per academic year (6 credit for each term Fall/Spring)
· 6 new recipients selected (14 recipients total for Fall 2010)
· Program is renewable for three academic years (beginning Fall 2009)
· Limited resources may be available for books
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a GPA between 2.75 and 3.00
Have at least 40 undergraduate credits from Montgomery College
Present a sincere desire to pursue a bachelor’s degree at UMUC beginning Fall 2010
