Scholarships for Transfer Students

Including International Students

Winthrop University (http://www.winthrop.edu/admissions/) is offering scholarships for transfer students, including international transfer students.

For students who have completed 30 credit hours (excluding remedial or developmental courses) or more of college level work, there are three different merit based scholarships. All three scholarships are guaranteed as long as the scholarship requirements are met!

• Transfer Scholarship (GPA: 3.0-3.49)
  If the student transfers with a GPA between a 3.0 and a 3.49 they qualify for a USD 2,500 out of state tuition waiver and a USD 500 stipend per year.


• Transfer Scholarship (GPA: 3.5-3.69)
  If the student transfers with a GPA between a 3.5 and a 3.69 they qualify for a USD 5,000 out of state tuition waiver and a USD 500 stipend per year.


• Transfer Scholarship (GPA: 3.7-4.00)
  If the students transfers with a GPA above 3.7 they qualify for a USD 10,000 out of state tuition waiver and will receive a USD 500 stipend per year.
